Bryan shares his online love success story: I am Vietnamese and my wife Cassie is African-American. We met online a few years ago. We were both on Match. It looked like we shared at least a couple of common interests, and I will admit she looked really pretty in her pictures. We discovered we had some genuinely good chemistry together. Honestly, it was just so easy for us to talk and for us to make each other laugh. I proposed to her in her favorite restaurant the weekend before Christmas a couple of years ago. We’ve been happily married since last fall (2013)!
So you’ve met the perfect guy. He treats you well. You get along . The chemistry is off the charts and you really think he may be the one…But, there’s just one problem. His parent’s won’t accept you because you’re Black. What do you do when your relationship is being threatened by prejudice views? Do you give in or press on. Well, it depends . If he’s worth fighting for and feels the same way about you then you press on, fight for what you both have. If it’s just a fling do yourself a favor and move on.
I have been trying for years to have a real and positive relationship. You see, I am one of the many women who has everything else going except for the intimate parts of our lives. The longest relationship I had ever had was with my child’s father and that ended several years ago.
A recent post on my Facebook community page sparked the question: “Would a white man accept my special needs child?? Any single woman who loves her special needs (or typical) child will always mentally ask this question of any potential suitor. My best friend has an autistic son as do I. As a matter of fact, that is how we met. Our sons were classmates. I was helping her on an online dating service and she sent out a wink to a seemingly nice white man.
Just how does a black American matriarch set roots In New Zealand? American slavery left an unwitting legacy on most of us descended from Africans. The sad thing is that most of us don’t know our history and for those of us who can trace back our ancestry, we are stopped for the most part at the slave owner. For instance, I traced my family back seven generations. It wasn’t a surprise where my family got its name Murrell as it was the name of the man who purchased my progenitors. He came from Ireland back in 1799.
Ask yourself the right questions! Get on the path to happiness and fulfillment!
Black women are statistically last to consider interracial dating which reduces their dating pool and significantly limits their opportunities for love, marriage and happiness.

Most of us may recall first meeting Dr. Misee Harris when she took on the producers at ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise in hopes of becoming the first black bachelorette. Well ABC passed on the offer, or she would say Dr. Harris passed on them and seems to be getting the last laugh. Culminating ten years of advanced level education to become a pediatric dentist, Dr. Harris settled into a thriving dental practice in central Tennessee. Because of her popularity, parents all over the area started booking dental appointments for their children. And because Dr. Harris is as skilled as she beautiful, her patient list is growing quite large because parents are so pleased with her work and genuine love for children.
I have known about the Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina (ELAM) for quite some time and thought that American students no longer qualified until my good friend Adrianne George Lund posted a link. In English, this is the Latin American School of Medicine (in Cuba).
On The Rise is a one-hour reality series that will be depicted in a casual setting. It centers on the rather undiscovered lives of three phenomenal women. The show chronicles the lives of three friends – Misee, Fawn and Lakesha – and the challenges they face as they balance successful careers and living the single life. While a production crew follows their everyday activities, the three women show the audience that you can be professionally driven without losing your true self.

This is one of the most beautiful Blasian couples I have ever seen.
From Uganda to Serbia, Rose Bugarčić’s Incredible Journey… In 2011 Rosa Josiah Mirembe Abbott Bugarčić or simply Rose, became the first black woman to be appointed to the Serbian government, specifically the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I have lived in some beautiful cities most of which were great swirling cities within the US and visited several outside of our borders. I would like to share a few based on my personal experience as part of a swirl marriage. I have seen swirling black women from New York City, to Indianapolis, Indiana all the way to North Pole, Alaska. Here in Los Angeles, I see all kinds of swirls. I have seen swirling sisters of all skin tones, shapes and sizes happily in love white, Latino, Asian and other men of various nationalities (all races). I ain’t mad at ’em.
In a perfect world, interracial marriages and relationships would be happily accepted. Since we are not in a perfect world (far from it) some people have to deal with unaccepting in-laws, siblings and people who they thought were friends. How does his family feel about your relationship to date, court, love or marry a black woman? We always hear about how white (and other non black) families are reluctant to accept a black daughter in law but what about black families? Was your family accepting of your choice to marry a non black male? I believe that black people tend to me more accepting but…
Have you ever wanted to write a book but just couldn’t quite get the motivation to get started? Well, your motivation is coming to Los Angeles and other cities that may be near you. Getrude Matshe is taking America and the world by storm with her program How To Write A Book In 40 Hours. Getrude hails from Zimbabwe but lives in New Zealand with her family.

“Obviously, he will capture some attention because he is Asian-American, a Harvard grad, accomplished, and married to a black woman.”
* I’m surprised whenever I see Harvard grads who get caught up in libertarianism, when they could take the careful approach by being a Republican or Democrat, while saying they have libertarian beliefs.
* Yes, I know some Libertarians are sure he will win. I shouldn’t say he won’t–I never expected that Barack Obama would be president of the United States, he seemed to be a nice-talking empty suit.
Meet Captain Nenh and Mrs. Ladi Trenh. I came by their wedding video uploaded by Ladi’s cousin Miguel Asua of Asua Light LLC. So, I set out on a search to find this couple. Miguel was nice enough to put me in touch with this beautiful bride. I contacted Ladi and she was so pleasant. Of course she agreed to an interview. What has to be noted is that Ladi is a natural beauty who wears little to no make up and is comfortable as she is. Her husband Nenh is obviously very much in love with the beautiful woman Ladi is inside and out. Ladi demonstrates that we can come as we are and attract, quality, marriage minded men who will love, honor, and protect us as well as provide for our families. Ladi was so forthcoming in sharing her story and pictures of her beautiful little family. She leads a simple, yet inspiring life as wife and mother. Thanks Ladi!
