I have been raised in a very open-minded family. My mother, has always been exceptional. Even during the 60’s when the Civil Rights fight was raging, many kids of color would not help the Caucasian kids learn about their culture. Our school was now integrated school and the questions and interest was sincere. My mom, took a stand and bridged the gap.
Last year, I made one of the most difficult decisions of my life. I decided to get married—again. I can understand if people roll their eyes at this, but if you’ve never been divorced, then you may not ever be able to understand. My divorce wasn’t nasty or drawn out in the traditional sense, but I was left quite broken, scarred, and afraid.
My name is Selena G. About 20 years ago, I had a white boyfriend named Matt Z. We loved each other very much and I could see us married. My parents and brother did not like him from the start and always gave me a hard time about him. I should not have been surprised because in my home there wasalways hatred of white people.
When I saw this headline about Jazmine Jones — Pregnant mom ‘beat 2-year-old daughter when she refused to eat her lunch and then left dying girl to go buy marijuana’ and read the story, my heart just hurt for poor baby Elliana Clairborne.
I consider most people who marry interracially, progressive and out of the box thinkers. I did not know that there were actual categories of people who chose to marry interracially until I came across this post online. Evidently there are select categories that most of us fall into who date and marry out. We are: outcasts, rebels, mavericks, compensators, adventurers, escapists, and unstables.

Relational aggression is a relatively new term usually related to bullying. These are a few terms I have coined describing relational aggression when it comes to black women in interracial relationships. Because of the lasting psychological effects this subtle and covert manipulations can have on the uninformed, the These types should be avoided whenever possible. But if avoidance is not possible, learn how to deal with them and keep it moving without skipping a beat.
Monyetta Can Move On Now That Ne-Yo And Crystal Renay Are Married! I don’t follow gossip sites much but once in a while, something will get my attention by surfing the Internet. I came across this post on Media Take Out about singer Ne-Yo. They report that he and Crystal Renay had a shot-gun wedding over the weekend. Seems Crystal, the new wife is pregnant. We are a pro-marriage blogzine and will always champion marriage as the goal of loving, marriage-minded men and women who are ready to take their love to the final level. But, having seen the episode of Atlanta Exes where the mother of Ne-Yo’s children; Monyetta Shaw is baring her soul to Christina in tears. She was distraught about having had her tubes burned at Ne-Yo’s request (demand if you ask me).

Long gone are the days when a new practice of plastic surgery was considered for World War I soldiers who suffered horrendous and disfiguring wounds and burns. Or when gangsters like John Dillinger underwent plastic surgery to alter their appearance in order to avoid FBI capture. Even in modern times, cosmetic and plastic surgery is still known as a pleasure of the wealthy and elite but times are a changing.
