International adoption can be wonderful. Most international adoptions are not as simple as deciding to go to Africa or China or Guatemala to get a baby. Some governments have made it difficult to adopt from their countries. But most loving couples are willing to go through the process to offer love and a home to an orphaned child. Paul and Kara Scoville have done just that.
Katija shares: This is my husband Carlton. We met in high school and became sweethearts. I was in a Chicago Public Schools Magnet vocational nursing program hosted at Lindblom High School Where Carlton attended. A nursing classmate who knew Carlton introduced us. A romance blossomed and after shortly high school, Carlton and I became husband and wife. We got married at city Hall on August 9th 2003. I was 18 and Carlton was 20. Still going strong, we have a 6 year old son.
