Recalling ‘The Bully’ from my childhood. When I was a kid, there were no support groups for bullying. The parent mantra for bullying was, “Tomorrow, there will be someone else. You’ll see.” For me, there was no tomorrow for someone else. It was only me…day after day after day. I would never have dreamed how much horror one person can dole out to another.
LAS VEGAS. NV–A mother is heartbroken after she claims bullying drove her 14-year-old daughter to take her own life.
“All of our lives are going to be missing one key factor, and that’s Carla,” said Carla’s mother, Natika Bird.
Natika Bird can’t bare to think what her life will be like without her teenage daughter, Carla. She says she was the type of girl who was reserved at times, but mostly happy and bubbly.
Talk about apples not falling far from the tree. Well, these two parents, Bradley and Wendy Knudson refused to put up with their lovely daughter being bullied. They did not just offer lip service and throw their hands up in helplessness and disgust. The Knudson’s took action. When attempts to communicate were not effective, Brad took to Youtube and called the bully family out. Let’s see how the bullies deal with the public backlash and being outed for their shameful and despicable behavior. Some of us will have to deal with bullies relating to our children regardless of the racial aspect. Bullies are mean – period!
